- Does anyone know why a 286 bridgeboard would recognise, fdisk, format and
- otherwise use an IDE hard drive, but WON'T boot from it? I'm getting really
- sick of having to boot from floppy.
-
-
- The PC HD is connected to a separate IDE controller in a PC slot.
-
- The floppy controller on that board is disabled (Using the BB floppy
- controller)
-
- The HD is recognised as C:, and wil do everything but boot. All the system
- files are there - I installed Ms.DOS 6.22 from the install disks.

-
- It';s gotta be something simple - any ideas?
